Our Purpose

Missions is a major theme here at Calvary Chapel.  It is the obligation  of the church not only to be witness in its surrounding  community but also to the ends of the earth  (Acts 1:8).

In keeping with this philosophy,  Calvary Chapel supports foreign and home missionaries. Mission projects are also strongly encouraged.  In addition  to its regular missions budget the church also supports short-term mission endeavors.
Your support and prayers are deeply appreciated!

Why Missions?

Missions are one way that a church contributes to the great commission. Our support of missionaries is vital to the growth of the kingdom as their work involves evangelizing, discipleship and church planting. Calvary Chapel supports several missionaries and organizations both domestically and internationally that aim to bring the gospel to the end of the earth.

What could you do to help?

Full time missionaries depend on prayer, encouragement and financial support to meet spiritual, emotional and physical needs, so that they can give themselves fully to the work of spreading the gospel.

Mission Trips

We believe that all members of the body of Christ are on mission, called to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel to the world in their own unique sphere of influence. With that, it is our commitment as a church to see the nations of the earth impacted with the Gospel and love of Jesus.

We’ve taken several short-term missions trips both in the United States and around the world, including Haiti, Cuba, Italy & Puerto Rico. We've been blessed to partner with local churches & organizations where we and focus on evangelism, discipleship and serving the community.

Following a devastating earthquake in 2011, Calvary ‘s mission team spent a week in Haiti and ministered in 3 small towns with children activities, construction and a medical clinic.

We’ve been blessed to be able to serve the people of Cuba for several years and minister to them through health clinics, children’s ministry, couples’ ministry, youth ministry and leadership training as well as a little baseball and music.  What an amazing privilege and blessing to see God do amazing things through us.

In November 2018, a Calvary Chapel mission team headed to Udine, Italy. We worked alongside the Wells, missionaries to Italy in various activities, including street ministries and a Thanksgiving Outreach where the gospel was shared with more than a hundred people.

Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico

Calvary Chapel Missions Team partnered with Tent NYC, a faith-based ministry on a trip to Puerto Rico. We had the opportunity to minister to school children and helped with clean-up of a school for orphaned and abused young women. We continue to serve and develop missionary partnerships in Puerto Rico.
