Why Missions?
Missions are one way that a church contributes to the great commission. Our support of missionaries is vital to the growth of the kingdom as their work involves evangelizing, discipleship and church planting. Calvary Chapel supports several missionaries and organizations both domestically and internationally that aim to bring the gospel to the end of the earth.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
What could you do to help?Full time missionaries depend on prayer, encouragement and financial support to meet spiritual, emotional and physical needs, so that they can give themselves fully to the work of spreading the gospel.
