We believe that all members of the body of Christ are on mission, called to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel to the world in their own unique sphere of influence. With that, it is our commitment as a church to see the nations of the earth impacted with the Gospel and love of Jesus. We’ve taken several short-term missions trips both in the United States and around the world, where we partner with local churches and focus on evangelism,
discipleship and serving the community.
In 2011, a year after a devastating earthquake that killed nearly 30,000 people in Haiti, Calvary Chapel sent a missionary group to assist one of the local evangelical pastors. Our group spent a week in Haiti and ministered in 3 small towns with children activities, construction and a medical clinic.
We’ve been blessed to be able to serve the people of Cuba on over 4 different trips in 2015, 2016, 2017 and again in 2019. Because of the experience we gained on each trip we’ve had the opportunity to share and serve in as many ways as possible.  Our  ministry to over 13 churches included health clinics, children’s ministry, couples’ ministry, youth ministry and leadership training as well as a little baseball and music.  What an amazing privilege. With every trip to Cuba we are so blessed to see God do amazing things through us.
In November 2018, a Calvary Chapel mission team headed to Udine, Italy. We worked alongside the Wells, missionaries to Italy in various activities, including street ministries and a Thanksgiving Outreach where the gospel was shared with more than a hundred people.
Puerto Rico
This past summer, Calvary Chapel Missions Team partnered with Tent NYC, a faith-based ministry located in Bushwick, Brooklyn and took some teens and young adults alongside more seasoned missionaries on a trip to Puerto Rico. We stayed at Tent NYC’s campground in Rio Grande but traveled to different areas in Puerto Rico including Loiza, Humacao and Fajardo where we ministered to school children and helped with clean-up of a school for orphaned and abused young women. The trip was a great balance of missionary outreaches coupled with team building activities. We are looking forward to future missionary partnerships with Tent NYC.
